Sport at DESS

During the recent parent-teacher evening the most common question that the PE Department received was, “When will sport be re-starting again at DESS?”
The good news is that the return to sport is already underway with the DASSA Dubai Schools 1km Challenge!
The DASSA Dubai Schools 1km Challenge is the first inter-school sporting activity of the year with children in years 4-6 being encouraged to run 4 laps of the pitch (1Km) in order to record a time which is then matched against schools from across Dubai. The current DESS leaderboard is:
A big congratulations to all the runners on the leaderboard above. We still have 2 more weeks to register times for this competition, so if your child would like to take part them please ask them to contact the PE teacher in each year group to arrange a time to run the 1km.
